Denis and Jill lived in the same house in Molesey until her untimely death from cancer at the Princess Alice Hospice in 1998.
Denis worked for the Guildford office of the printing company who had taken over Kadek Press until he retired in 2002. He underwent treatment for prostate cancer in 2003-4 which was successful but which left him with some long term health issues which made it difficult to get out as much as he would have liked. 

Denis had 2 grandchildren: his grandson Louis, 15 (Lisa's son) and Martha, 12  (Lorraine's daughter). Denis was a much-loved Grandad, he will be missed by them both, but he also left them with so much love and many happy memories.

Denis continued to live in the house he shared with Jill and where their daughters grew up, until his death on New Year's Day 2021.

He missed his beloved wife every day afte she died, he is at peace and reunited with her now.
